Immunization is an attempt to cause or increase a person's immunity actively against a disease. DPT immunization is a vaccination given to induce active immunity at the same time against diphtheria, pertussis (whooping cough/hundred-day cough), and tetanus. The purpose of this study was to determine the predisposing factors associated with the mother's behavior towards giving DPT immunization to infants at the Kapasa Makassar Health Center.

This research uses descriptive analytic method with a cross sectional study approach with a sample of 36 people using purposive sampling technique. The data collection was done by distributing questionnaires to see the relationship between predisposing factors and the behavior of mothers on giving DPT immunization to infants at the Kapasa Makassar Health Center.

The results of data analysis using the Chi-Square test showed that there were a relationship between education and mother's behavior towards giving DPT immunization to infants (p 0.006), knowledge with mother's behavior towards giving DPT immunization to infants (p 0.000), and attitudes with mother's behavior towards giving DPT immunization in infants (p 0.000).
